Project overview
Kvik A/S is a Danish Kitchen manufacturer producing kitchens, wardrobes and baths anchored in the Nordic design tradition. Kvik A/S is a franchise and with more than 180 stores in 14 countries. Kvik an international player that brings quality kitchens at surprisingly low prices to end consumers. Being a high-quality Danish designed and produced brand with manufacturing experience and efficiency is Kvik A/S placed in a rather unique position where it is difficult for the competitor to deliver the same quality at a similar price.
Project: The E-commerce platform is developed in .NET managed and deployed using Azure DevOps and running in Azure. Kvik have focused on making the solution headless by taking an existing E-commerce platform and making it headless (React on top). All communication between front-end and backend is through the headless API´s. The E-commerce engine is integrated into Kvik A/S operational backbone, and they strive to be 100% data driven. The commerce platform is implemented with focus on loose coupling in pursuit of a composable architecture. As such they are and will continue to strive towards using the MACH principles.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development, integration, and maintenance of the e-commerce platform under the guidance of senior team members
- Participate in backlog refinement and task discussions together with the team
- Assist in investigating and prototyping new solutions and improvements
- Take part in Agile ceremonies (daily meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives)
- Continuously learn and improve technical and development skills
- Follow established development practices and coding standards
Requirements
- 1–2 years of commercial experience with C# / .NET
- Basic understanding of .NET platform (.NET Core / .NET 6+)
- Experience in developing Web APIs (REST) or backend services
- Understanding of OOP principles
- Familiarity with ASP.NET Core
- Basic knowledge of databases
- Understanding of HTTP, JSON, and client-server communication
- Basic understanding of unit testing (xUnit / NUnit is a plus, not mandatory)
- At least Upper-Intermediate English
