Lead UI Designer

Project overview

Our customer develops a modern and open SaaS platform that serves as the backbone of their customers’ property management operations. Their solutions manage complex workflows, deep business logic, and strong integrations — all within a clean and user-friendly interface. They are currently on an ambitious growth journey, evolving into an international PropTech SaaS provider. As a Lead UI Designer, you’ll have a key role in shaping the visual identity of their products — ensuring a consistent, modern, and premium design language across the entire platform suite.

Responsibilities

As Lead UI Designer, you’ll take ownership of the visual design process — from concept, color, and typography to iconography, layout, and final UI delivery. You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining our visual design system and ensuring visual consistency across our SaaS ERP products.
You’ll join our UI/UX department, which consists of four experienced UX designers with strong domain knowledge and a technical writer responsible for product language consistency. Together, you’ll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders across the organization. Your focus will be on the graphic and visual side of design, not the UX process — you’re the one who draws, refines, and elevates the visual experience.

• Develop and maintain a scalable and consistent visual design system across our SaaS product suite
• Create new visual concepts and high-fidelity UI designs aligned with brand and product
• Lead the graphic design process — from concept sketches to finalized UI screens and components
• Ensure visual consistency across platforms, languages, and markets
• Collaborate with UX designers and product managers to align visual quality with user needs and business goals
• Act as an ambassador for visual excellence — raising the bar for what great B2B SaaS software looks like

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UI or visual design for complex software products — ideally SaaS, B2B, or ERP systems
• Strong expertise in typography, color theory, iconography, component design, and brand consistency
• A portfolio showcasing visually strong software interfaces and design systems
• Experience leading or owning the graphic design process from idea to delivery
• Great collaboration skills and a strong eye for detail — you take pride in visual quality
• Proficiency in Figma (and alternatively Adobe tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, or XD)
• Familiarity with agile development environments and collaboration across product and tech teams
