Senior AQA Engineer

Project overview

Systematic is ramping up in the Defence business area, and we are on the lookout for a Senior QA Engineer.
You will be working closely with 3rd party, rolling out a mission-critical solution that creates value by simplifying decision-making when it matters.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional, integration and regression testing to ensure high quality product
• Writing and maintaining automated tests
• Investigating defects in collaboration with QA, development and support teams
• Creating test documentation (test cases, test plans, checklists) adapted to the needs of the project
• Identifying and timely reporting of quality risks
• Analyzing system performance and stability metrics based on logs and dashboards (Grafana, ELK)

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a QA position
• Experience in creating automated tests
• Experience in working with Task tracking systems (Jira, Trello or similar)
• Experience in working with log and metrics tracking tools (Grafana, ELK)
• Basic understanding of version control systems (Git)
• Understanding of client-server and microservice architectures
• Experience in testing mobile applications, including UI/UX evaluation
• Experience in testing APIs, including creating and executing tests for RESTful services
• Confident knowledge of testing theory and test design techniques
• Experience in creating, maintaining and updating project and test documentation
• Excellent analytical and communication skills

Will be an advantage:

• Experience in working with TestRail and GitLab
• Test automation skills using Appium
• Experience in working with Espresso, XCUITest
• Practical experience in load testing
