Senior Software Developer (C#)

Project overview

Our customer develops complex radar systems to customers over most of the worlds. They are constantly improving and optimizing front-end software along with their core backend systems. We are looking for a new colleague to join their software development team in order to strengthen and preserve the ability to stay on top in one of the most challenging and advanced part of modern software industry.
The challenge is to build a new intuitive GUI based UI with a UX that will help radar operators to utilize all the new and advanced features we are adding to our radar systems. On one hand, the operator must have access to the sophisticated and advanced functionality found in our modern radars. On the other hand, the system must limit the amount of information to only the most important information required to maintain the full overview in e.g., satellite launches or when monitoring large areas at land and sea.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement software to control advanced radar systems. You will be part of a team that develops and maintains code for handling UI, communication, calculations, data storage and much more. Your tasks will primarily be to:

• Design and implement new functionality
• Optimize and develop our existing solutions
• Architectural and interface definitions in teams of 2-6 developers
• Develop unit- and integration test of your code
• System test in simulated environments and on full radar systems

The technical environment consists of Visual Studio C++/C#, .NET6, Git and Azure DevOps, WFP, XAML, SciChart (to build UI)

Requirements

• Expert programming skills in C#
• Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
• Experience with development of Windows applications
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of parallel programming
• Good communication skills in English both written and spoken
