Senior Business Analyst

Project overview

Plandent A/S is a leading supplier to the dental industry, combining deep clinical and commercial expertise in dentistry with modern software development. Plandent provides digital solutions that support dental clinics in their daily work – from clinical records and treatment planning to patient communication, administration, practice management, and integrations with external systems. Nexta is Plandent’s next-generation dental EHR/EPJ and Practice Management platform. It is currently focused on the Danish market and is being developed with future international scalability in mind.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong technical mindset to join our Scrum team working on Nexta, a digital health platform for dentistry.
The role is based at Conscensia in Lviv, Ukraine, with close daily collaboration with Plandent’s product and development teams in Denmark. You will work with Product Management, Development, QA, UX, Architecture, and other Business Analysts to translate business needs into clear, actionable, and testable requirements.
This role is suitable for someone who can bring structure to complex topics, connect user needs with system behavior, and help the team move from unclear ideas to well-defined, development-ready requirements.

• Analyze business needs, user workflows, system behavior, and technical dependencies to support feature development
• Prepare and maintain clear product documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, process flows, and functional specifications
• Ensure backlog items are well understood, actionable, testable, and ready for development
• Collaborate with Product Management, Product Ownership, Scrum Master, UX, Development, QA, and Architecture throughout discovery, refinement, development, and testing
• Support backlog refinement, estimation, prioritization, and scope clarification
• Facilitate alignment between business, product, and technical stakeholders, including clarification of technical constraints, integrations, and data flows
• Work with QA to ensure requirements are correctly translated into test scenarios and verified functionality
• Identify gaps, edge cases, inconsistencies, and dependencies early in the feature lifecycle
• Build domain understanding of dental clinical workflows, patient data, clinic administration, and practice management processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in software product development
• Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex or ambiguous topics
• Ability to understand system logic, integrations, data flows, and technical dependencies
• Experience writing clear user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and functional documentation
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Product, Development, QA, UX, and Architecture
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar backlog management tools
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid and cross-border team setup
• Required – hybrid model of work (office/home)

Will be an advantage:

• Experience in healthcare, health tech, medical software, clinical workflows, or another regulated domain
• Experience with financial, accounting, invoicing, or payment-related functionality
• Understanding of integrations with external systems and APIs
• Interest in the dental domain and willingness to build strong product knowledge over time
